The Summer 2010 League Season starts here at North Bowl the week of June 7th! Leagues are a great way to spend time with friends and make some new ones. But Leagues are also a way to get out of the Philly summer heat (n' humidity) and cool down in the chill, relaxed atmosphere at North Bowl! We have seven 10-week leagues this season, as well as two family-oriented leagues. Listed below is our schedule for Summer 2010.

John Tracey's Pro-Shot
- For most bowlers, Summer is the off-season; it's a time to train and learn new techniques for the upcoming Fall season! John's focus will be lane oil patterns, using PBA and USBC approved patterns, as well as a couple of miscellaneous patterns, for that professional shot. Together with John's help you will learn how to adapt your ball to expert lane conditions, and in the end, bring your game up to a whole new level. This league is not for entry-level bowlers!
- Pro-Shot will take place on Monday's at 6:30pm. This league will be arranged with teams of 2, rather than 4. Matches will involve a 3-game series. Bowlers must have maintained a 150+ average over the previous season. John Tracey will be on-hand to coach you through the night. The first 3 weeks could be quite challenging, but at the end of the season you'll walk away a better bowler!

Monday John Tracey's Pro-Shot: Mon. at 6:30pm, June 7th - August 9th
Our Mixed League is for all bowlers, from novice to semi-pro. All of our leagues carry an 85% handicap, so don't worry about the score - just sit back, relax, and have fun! Teams are comprised of four bowlers with up to four substitutes. Aside from a great time every week, league bowlers can enjoy many perks: $2.00 games (per person, per game) Sundays through Thursdays, invitations to cash tournaments, a Trophy (if you're lucky) and the End-of-League Banquet!

Tuesday: Gutters & Strikes: Tues. at 6:30pm, June 8th - August 10th

Family Leagues
Bowling should never be an individual experience. The kids are out of school, so why not bring the whole family out to compete? All-ages are invited!
Teams can choose between Saturday or Sunday afternoons. Teams will include families of 4 or single parent/child teams will be paired with other single parent/child teams. League fees are only $10 per person per week. Trophies will be given out for highest male and female averages, highest team score, best child bowler, and best adult bowler.
The winning family will receive a kid's party at North Bowl Lounge n' Lanes, all expenses paid, for up to 15 kids!
Benefits also include the North Bowl League Rate of $2 on Sunday-Thursday for all family league members.
